I know… I know…. we are well into 2010 and I wanted to write about the next few events and trails we plan to run this year. I also want to talk about product write-ups that you can expect to read about in the very near future.

Next trail Run:Mud Springs

I am very excited about January 24th as our group gets ready to run the infamous Mud Springs. Mud Springs is rated a 6 out of 10 on the 1-10 trail rating index. The first portion of the trail is a gradual hill climb that takes you to a boulder strewn hill climb that most Jeeper’s decide the trail ends right there!  The reality is the trail runs up the hill and back through the mountain another 3 miles.  You then will run into a old make shift cabin that stands to this day.  Most folks leave behind a card or a gift for other to use when the need arises….like motor oil or brake fluid.  Mud Springs features what  call an in & out trail meaning you have to traverse back to the beginning of the trail no loops at all. We still have openings so sign up if you would like to attend.

The Jp Trails Moab Adventure takes place April 04th-8th 2010.

Projects and Write ups

In 2010 Jp Trails will conduct several product tests including long term testing like Aev wheels and Nth degree 3″ TJ springs. Also look for other innovation product reviews every month right here. Now did someone say project? Heck my Jeep is pretty much done what project can we tackle? Plenty, Savage Suns ’55 Willy’s and Cop 4×4′s new company vehicle to name a few. My personal favorite will be a Military Trailer dubbed M8 that will be completely fabbed from scratch. Stay tuned!
